This feature allows you to save the movie at one size (usually a smaller “thumb-nail” view), in any position and at any frame and have it “spring open” to its normal size, to a new position and play from the beginning of the movie.
To activate this feature, check the box labeled “Spring Open” in the Movie Info dialog. Then save the page with the movie at any size, in any position and at any frame. This how the movie will be displayed when the page is opened. When the user clicks on the movie in the ProViewer, it will spring to its normal size and play from the beginning. When finished playing, the movie will return to the saved size, position and frame.
You may also choose a position at which you would like the movie to open. In the Movie Info dialog, type in the top, left coordinates (in pixels) at which you would like the movie to open. Or you can position the movie where you want it to open and click on it while holding down the option and command keys.
If the open point is not set, the movie will spring open keeping its center point constant.
You can test the “spring open” function of a movie in ProView by clicking on it while holding down the command key. (See “Command Key” under “Special Key Functions”.)
